Isabella's formal

Beautiful Isabella is the picture of elegance attending her school formal. Our shoot included quite a few locations that are all close to each other. We chose these spots because they have great light but they also offer excellent variety for the images. I am sure Isabella danced the night away. (she assured me it was possible in her shoes) We wish her all ...

Farewell Paula and Scott

Paula and Scott were moving away from Townsville and wanted a shoot done to remember their time here. They are quirky couple who don't take themselves too seriously. As you can see they are also ridiculously good looking and of course absolutely adore each other. It's a love that is beautiful to witness. Townsville will miss you Scott and Paula! Megan x

Taryn

I recently photographed Taryn… Isn’t she gorgeous! Before the shoot Taryn was so nervous.  She had her hair done by Alisha Cherry Hair & Beauty and makeup by Dana Zolli. She had to keep reminding herself she deserved all this fuss. Between wardrobe changes, cups of tea and location changes we actually took a few photos and had a lot of fun...  the ...

Glamour Photography – Margot

Classically beautiful - Margot from Balance Beauty and Makeup Artistry. She spends her days making other people look beautiful. It's wonderful to see her in front of the camera instead of always being behind the scenes. Simple, classic, glamour photography. Thanks Margot, I thoroughly enjoyed taking your portrait. Honey  :)

Glamour – modern and fresh

Kym really is a burst of fresh, warm energy! She just celebrated her 50th birthday and I know most people will be thinking the same as me - 'tell me her secrets, she looks amazing!". To celebrate this milestone Kym decided to treat herself to a new dress and shoes plus have her hair and makeup done for a photoshoot of ...

  • Whoever said that engineers were boring obviously didn't meet the team at SMEC. I had a blast capturing their headshots this week.
  • An unforgettable moment at Teegan and Sean’s wedding last year. Little Marley was getting amongst it. 😆 I love how kids are so unpredictable.
  • The excited expression on her face says it all.
  • Even the Great Danes were included in this pregnancy/newborn shoot. I've popped my favorites on the blog. Check them out using the link in bio.

  • Here he is... Logan. This is the little guy who just couldn't wait to make his entrance into the world. He was in such a hurry Jemmah's pregnancy shoot almost didn't happen. (read the previous post) I'm grateful he gave us a few hours grace to allow us to capture the pregnancy stage. Isn't he the sweetest!

  • THE PREGNANCY SHOOT THAT ALMOST DIDN'T HAPPEN - Scheduled for the first time during 'the big wet', this shoot had to be rescheduled 3 times before we finally had a day with enough light to shoot. We were ready to shoot at 8.30am.... that was until Jemmah's water broke at 6.30am. Amazingly she still wanted to go ahead. "Don't worry, we've got this" her message to me read. I shuffled a few of my other bookings around, pushing her shoot time back and after she was checked over at the birth center she was given the all clear to go home and do the shoot. I am so pleased I got to document this special time. As the day went on I couldn't help but wonder how everything was going. I got a text message the following day... a boy! Stay tuned for the newborn photos, he is a cutie!!

  • I am super proud of these portraits that I shot in collaboration with Verve Design for Queensland Country Credit Union last year. 6 different individuals shot in 6 different locations around Townsville. Check them all out on the blog. Link in bio :) Megan
