Clodagh’s Debutante Photography Session
This is the absolutely STUNNING Clodagh!
I was recently asked to photograph her debut, and after photographing so many of her cousins over the years, I was absolutely thrilled to be given the chance to capture this special occasion for her too.
When I photograph special occasions like debuts and formals, I only take on one booking per day. This gives us the freedom to visit more than one location and, just as importantly, means we have plenty of time up our sleeve if something doesn’t quite go to plan. It’s always nice to have a little breathing room to take it all in on a day like this!
For Cloudia’s shoot, we visited three different locations around Ayr and Home Hill. Debutante shoots can be a little tricky because everything needs to be finished by around 4.15pm when they need to be at the pre-event. That means we don’t get the gorgeous, soft golden light that usually arrives later in the afternoon. So, I carefully chose three locations that worked beautifully with the earlier light, while also giving us three completely different looks.
Clodagh was an absolute vision!
She was joined by Harvey, whose family I photographed when he was probably around 10 years old. Time flies! (see his family shoot HERE) It really is such a lovely part of what I do – getting to photograph families through different stages and seeing these little people grow up.
We had the best afternoon and I’m so happy with how these images turned out.
I’m currently taking bookings for 2027 Formals and Debutantes. I only take on a limited number each year and I already have a few dates booked, so if you’re planning a formal or debutante shoot for 2027, get in touch as soon as you can.
I’d love to help you create something really special.
Megan 🙂
