Kennett family – family photography townsville

I've lived in Townsville for almost 20 years and am still being surprised with new locations I've never heard about. Cassie called me before Christmas to arrange a shoot for her family. Cassie has just graduated from university and is about to move away to the beautiful Sunshine Coast and work in her field. She thought it would be a ...

Cheyne Shades and Canvas – commercial photography townsville

Cheyne Shades and Canvas are a locally owned business that make shade coverings for everything from pools to the back of utes. They were updating their website so contacted me to do headshots and also images of 'the business in action'. Having images on your website that tell the story of what you do is valuable. It's simple, when potential ...

Let’s sit loosely with that – commercial photography Townsville

The brief I was given from Kylie for her photoshoot was the images needed to be natural, have a Tropical North Queensland vibe with subtle hints of The Defence Force. These were shot for Kylie's personal brand and website (soon to be launched). The location chosen was her home in North Ward, Townsville. Megan :)

professional headshot Townsville

Putting a face to a name on your website and in your marketing or advertising can make all the difference to building relationships with your clients, colleagues and the public. These headshots were taken for 31 Sturt Chambers, Barristers-at-law and will feature on their new website. I wanted to create images that were classic and showed a little character of ...

Headshot photography

We usually capture most corporate headshots inside with studio lights, so when we were asked to photograph the staff from Bank of QLD in an outdoor setting we excited to be able to use our favourite golden backlight! I had been location scouting the week before and had found this city/river scene which ended up being the perfect backdrop. We were thrilled when Lisa the bank owner told us.. "They are exactly ...

Caro & Kingi

We recently photographed Haven's new brand ambassadors Caro and Kingi and we've been delighted to see these images plastered over buses throughout Townsville. The client brief was to create photos that were clean and fresh with a white background so the photos could be used across a variety of media. The photos were captured using three studio lights, two lights for the model's ...

Christmas Styling

Congrats to Anna from Ethos Interiors for her feature in the Townsville Bulletin on Saturday! Anna has been decorating and styling Townsville homes and commercial spaces for many years. It's great to finally get a look into her home and see how she decorates for Christmas - who doesn't love a sticky beak! This well lit and beautifully styled space was a dream to shoot. Honey ...

Lifestyle photography Townsville – Aspex

I have working been working with different sectors of this local Townsville business for years now, their latest project is a new land development called Aspex on Banfield. The photographic projects have been varied, from people/lifestyle images (most recent shoot below) through to construction photographs. It's always a pleasure working with the team because they really value the medium of ...

Commercial Photos – Lancini Group

I've been photographing a variety of work for Lancini Group for a few years, the most recent shoot is of their full team. It's wonderful seeing a Townsville business expanding both throughout Townsville and beyond, plus employing this many staff. The staff were getting together for a belated Christmas party and Laurence thought this was a great opportunity to capture a group photo. Their ...

  • An unforgettable moment at Teegan and Sean’s wedding last year. Little Marley was getting amongst it. 😆 I love how kids are so unpredictable.
  • The excited expression on her face says it all.
  • Even the Great Danes were included in this pregnancy/newborn shoot. I've popped my favorites on the blog. Check them out using the link in bio.

  • Here he is... Logan. This is the little guy who just couldn't wait to make his entrance into the world. He was in such a hurry Jemmah's pregnancy shoot almost didn't happen. (read the previous post) I'm grateful he gave us a few hours grace to allow us to capture the pregnancy stage. Isn't he the sweetest!

  • THE PREGNANCY SHOOT THAT ALMOST DIDN'T HAPPEN - Scheduled for the first time during 'the big wet', this shoot had to be rescheduled 3 times before we finally had a day with enough light to shoot. We were ready to shoot at 8.30am.... that was until Jemmah's water broke at 6.30am. Amazingly she still wanted to go ahead. "Don't worry, we've got this" her message to me read. I shuffled a few of my other bookings around, pushing her shoot time back and after she was checked over at the birth center she was given the all clear to go home and do the shoot. I am so pleased I got to document this special time. As the day went on I couldn't help but wonder how everything was going. I got a text message the following day... a boy! Stay tuned for the newborn photos, he is a cutie!!
