Townsville Family Shoot – Suz' Family Visit

My Mum and Dad recently popped over for a short 6 week holiday… I’d love if they could just pop by for a cuppa tea but coming from England they haven’t invented the means to make this possible… yet. Every couple of years they come out to see what I’m up to and make sure that I’m ticking along OK (like parents do!). They absolutely adore the lifestyle we have in Townsville, cycling every path along Ross River, stopping to take in the wildlife along the way, constantly coming back with stories of the crocodile (yes they did see it in Ross River!), the birds and turtles. Every cycle ride inevitably included a coffee at one of their favourite pitstops, Palmetum or the new Juliette’s along the strand, sorry to anyone who was unable to use the white wooden seats for 6 weeks… Mum and Dad well and truly claimed those!!!
This holiday was extra special for me because they got to see my new house and meet the new addition to my family, my Beagle Ollie. She was instantly adored by my parents and greeted them every morning at their bedroom door for cuddles.
Mum and Dad also helped me on the road to recovery after spraining my ankle on holiday in Bali, meeting them at the airport on crutches was definitely a first! Our photoshoot with Honey was towards the end of their visit (when I was more stable on 2 legs!). It’s such a special time for me to treasure and I’m so grateful to Honey to have these beautiful photos. I have some beautiful white frames that are just going to look adorable hanging on my walls.
My parents are honestly this adorably cute on and off camera, so for Honey to capture these precious natural moments it is exactly how they are, thank you Honey!
Suz and Ollie 🙂
