Isabella's formal

Beautiful Isabella is the picture of elegance attending her school formal. Our shoot included quite a few locations that are all close to each other. We chose these spots because they have great light but they also offer excellent variety for the images. I am sure Isabella danced the night away. (she assured me it was possible in her shoes) We wish her all ...

Codee's graduation

This is Codee, Sean and Treen's youngest daughter and my niece. Codee graduated from St Margaret Mary's this year. Isn't she beautiful! Eamon (Codee's partner) also looks dashing in his suit and was the perfect gentleman. Congratulations Codee. I know a smart, funny, intelligent girl like you has a bright future ahead.  Congratulations to Sean and Treen... your youngest child graduating ...

Rebel's Graduation

Graduation week is one of our favorite times of the year. We shoot lots of beautiful girls and handsome young men. There is excitement in the air and anticipation of a bright future and new things on the horizon. This year I was asked to shoot my neice Rebel. Isn't she stunning! We did the shoot on a family property out ...

because we're cute

My 16 year old daughter Holly, partnered her bestfriend/boyfriend Simon to his graduation yesterday. The preparation started months ago when we purchased her original 1950's dress from etsy in America.  Yesterday we  had appointments at Reds Salon with Troy for her hair and Bellanova with Dana for her makeup. We were so happy with the end result Holly was squealing with ...

  • Whoever said that engineers were boring obviously didn't meet the team at SMEC. I had a blast capturing their headshots this week.
  • An unforgettable moment at Teegan and Sean’s wedding last year. Little Marley was getting amongst it. 😆 I love how kids are so unpredictable.
  • The excited expression on her face says it all.
  • Even the Great Danes were included in this pregnancy/newborn shoot. I've popped my favorites on the blog. Check them out using the link in bio.

  • Here he is... Logan. This is the little guy who just couldn't wait to make his entrance into the world. He was in such a hurry Jemmah's pregnancy shoot almost didn't happen. (read the previous post) I'm grateful he gave us a few hours grace to allow us to capture the pregnancy stage. Isn't he the sweetest!

  • THE PREGNANCY SHOOT THAT ALMOST DIDN'T HAPPEN - Scheduled for the first time during 'the big wet', this shoot had to be rescheduled 3 times before we finally had a day with enough light to shoot. We were ready to shoot at 8.30am.... that was until Jemmah's water broke at 6.30am. Amazingly she still wanted to go ahead. "Don't worry, we've got this" her message to me read. I shuffled a few of my other bookings around, pushing her shoot time back and after she was checked over at the birth center she was given the all clear to go home and do the shoot. I am so pleased I got to document this special time. As the day went on I couldn't help but wonder how everything was going. I got a text message the following day... a boy! Stay tuned for the newborn photos, he is a cutie!!

  • I am super proud of these portraits that I shot in collaboration with Verve Design for Queensland Country Credit Union last year. 6 different individuals shot in 6 different locations around Townsville. Check them all out on the blog. Link in bio :) Megan
