We've been running photography workshops in Townsville since 2010, wow time has flown! Even though the course content remains similar, the experience is always different because each group brings it's own dynamic. In our October 2015 workshop we focussed primarily on people and still life photography, because that was the general vote from the participants attending. The photography techniques we teach can be used across ...

Photography Course Townsville

We ran our 'backlit' photography course on Tuesday and had THE most PERFECT light for the occasion! Tam, Paula and Michael turned up at our studio to learn about a specific lighting arrangement called backlit. Backlit is when the greatest light source is coming from behind the subject and can be one of the more challenging natural light setups. I had the most enjoyable afternoon ...

  • If this year is Grad year now is the time to book. I still have some availability in the big grad week.
Megan :)
  • If I had a dollar for every time I’ve heard “I will have my family photos taken after I loose weight”
  • On my days off, this is where you will find me. At the moment I have eggplant, pumpkin, cucumber, chilli, herbs and even found a random rockmelon. I also buy zinnia, marigold, cosmos and sunflower seeds and scatter them everywhere. Every time I look all the flowers it makes me happy. This particular flower beds seeds came as a gift from @honeyatkinson. Best gift ever!!! Megan :)
  • After living here for 20 years I thought I knew Townsville... apparently not! This family surprised me with where we did this shoot. Can you pick where it was shot? I had no idea this place existed. Read all about it on the blog. Link in bio.

  • Kicking off the new year is the perfect time to focus on what you need to get you where you want to be. Your point of difference is that you are YOU! Business profile shots that tell your story should be top of the list. #2019isyouryear thanks @letsbereal_withkylie for choosing me to help tell your story.
  • LOVE - it’s the reason why I take photos.
  • There is something ethereal about this image of my gorgeous niece.
  • I worked with @_thehuntinghouse and The Cathedral School of St Anne & St James Townsville last year on this Beyond the Gates campaign. It's rewarding to see our collaborative efforts in print in this months @pakmag_online. The grounds of the school are like something out of a pop up story book. The school offers monthly tours if you'd like to take a closer look.
  • There are big changes ahead for Romi and her Mum as Romi is about to leave Townsville to live in Brisbane and start studying. Check out the blog to see a few of my favourites from their shoot. Link in bio.
