Pregnancy and Newborn photography

I always feel lucky when I have the opportunity to capture both pregnancy and newborn photographs for a client… and it leaves me feeling much more connected to ‘their’ story. Myself and all the girls at the studio always squeal when we receive a phone call from a client telling us all about their new baby!
When I first met Pamela (mum) what struck me was her gentleness and elegance and as a result I think the photos reflect this ‘way/feeling’. I find it interesting that whilst going for a certain style of photograph is heavily influenced by the photographer you choose, I also think the personality and outlook of the person you are photographing has a massive effect too. Pamela and Linton’s little gem Ivy was such a sweetie to photograph – beautiful soft features just like her mum and dad. I can’t wait to see her again when she is at walking stage 🙂
