a family story

A few weeks ago we were invited to a family’s farm at the base of Harveys Range to do a shoot of their three children. This is a special place for the children because their aunts, uncles, grandparents and cousins live there. Plus Andrea and Grant’s (mum and dad) wedding reception was held at the same location! The children’s grandparents moved there when they were first married and lived in the little shack that you see in the photos. The children were amazing during the shoot….  Will (4 years old) is very charming and didn’t hesitate to show us all of his moves and had us laughing so hard we could barely move! All 3 of the kids were so well behaved and comfortable in the familiar environment. The children were beautiful and the light amazing, but the most touching part was the history behind the location and what that means to the family. We love doing shoots that have story and context, they have far more meaning now and in the future. We would love to hear your story….   Megan and Liz
