Monica and John

Photographing a friends wedding is the best! You get a front row seat to all the magic. My beautiful friend Miss Monica Allen married her one true love on January 10th this year and I was lucky enough to be their chosen photographer. Monica and John are an incredible couple with a connection that is noticeable to everyone who comes in contact ...

sarah & mitchell's wedding

The whole week before Sarah and Mitchells wedding the weather was bleak with inches of rain and high winds. When I awoke on Saturday the 16th of August in Mission beach I couldn’t believe our luck - the sun was shining and it was a beautiful day. Sarah and Michell both grew up in Mission Beach. They met as children in ...

Kirsty + Michael's Townsville Wedding

Congratulations to Kirsty and Michael celebrating their special day with friends and family in a host of stunning Townsville locations. Kirsty describes her wedding theme as 'Rustic Romantic - not exactly vintage but classic ivory and whites teamed with brown paper, ivory lace and anitique green glass'. Love the shoes!!! Wedding Photographer Ayr: Theresa and Michael

What a BEE-autiful wedding!! Theresa and Michael were married in Home Hill on a stunning blue sky day in early August with a wedding theme of 'Bees'. Theresa is extremely creative so once she had decided on the theming she went all out to continue this element through her whole wedding. Liz and I were blown away by the level that the Bee theme ...

  • Whoever said that engineers were boring obviously didn't meet the team at SMEC. I had a blast capturing their headshots this week.
  • An unforgettable moment at Teegan and Sean’s wedding last year. Little Marley was getting amongst it. 😆 I love how kids are so unpredictable.
  • The excited expression on her face says it all.
  • Even the Great Danes were included in this pregnancy/newborn shoot. I've popped my favorites on the blog. Check them out using the link in bio.

  • Here he is... Logan. This is the little guy who just couldn't wait to make his entrance into the world. He was in such a hurry Jemmah's pregnancy shoot almost didn't happen. (read the previous post) I'm grateful he gave us a few hours grace to allow us to capture the pregnancy stage. Isn't he the sweetest!

  • THE PREGNANCY SHOOT THAT ALMOST DIDN'T HAPPEN - Scheduled for the first time during 'the big wet', this shoot had to be rescheduled 3 times before we finally had a day with enough light to shoot. We were ready to shoot at 8.30am.... that was until Jemmah's water broke at 6.30am. Amazingly she still wanted to go ahead. "Don't worry, we've got this" her message to me read. I shuffled a few of my other bookings around, pushing her shoot time back and after she was checked over at the birth center she was given the all clear to go home and do the shoot. I am so pleased I got to document this special time. As the day went on I couldn't help but wonder how everything was going. I got a text message the following day... a boy! Stay tuned for the newborn photos, he is a cutie!!

  • I am super proud of these portraits that I shot in collaboration with Verve Design for Queensland Country Credit Union last year. 6 different individuals shot in 6 different locations around Townsville. Check them all out on the blog. Link in bio :) Megan
