family photos
Life with two babies... Oh, it's busy and exhausting (and sometimes a little crazy) but it's also incredibly beautiful and rewarding! Mikaela and Aaron have a lovely little family of 4 and I had the best afternoon capturing all the fun.

The Dare Family – family photos townsville
One year on and a lot has changed for the Dare family. (see last years shoot here) That adorable little baby has grown a ridiculously cute curly, crazy haired toddler. Carter is a little dude! Chippy (fur child) still seems miffed as to why everyone thinks Carter is so wonderful. This in itself is hilarious.
We ran with a bit of a 'Sullivans' ...
“will you marry me?
Sam told Jess wanted to get a couple of photos with their dogs but Sam had other plans that Jess didn't know about. Halfway through the shoot, he dropped to one knee and asked her to marry him. It was a moment filled with emotion that I feel privileged to have witnessed.

the McArthur family
It's often difficult to get the family together so when it happens it's great to document it. Even though this is not the entire McArthur family, it's everyone from their 2016 Christmas. I love watching cousins interact with each other, grandparents dote over their grandchildren and grown siblings enjoy their nieces and nephews. Families can be complex (well at least mine is) ...
Business profile commercial photography
Photography may be my one true love but my love of people is equal to it. The best part of shooting for someone's business is getting the opportunity to see how other professions work. I love shooting for people who are passionate about what they do and helping them communicate their message using photography.
Levi Morse is an orthopedic surgeon. He ...
family photos down the creek
The Grundy family moved up from Melbourne a few years back for a lifestyle change. They have settled on the banks of Bluewater creek. What a patch of paradise! It was a beautiful location for their family photos. The kids played, skipped rocks and with a bit of encouragement from me also put the little boat in. It means a ...
Deacon Family 2016
Honey first photographed the Deacon family in 2006. Every year, without fail, Carolyn would call in November/December and book in to update their family photos. When Honey moved away the honor was passed onto me. For the last 10 years, we have watched them grow and change. In the beginning, they didn't have any pets and now it's a wonderful ...
Leyton’s graduation – good buy high school
I have been spending so much time shoot lately I have let the blogging slip. Flashback to a few weeks ago when Leyton graduated. When planning Leyton's grad shoot I was excited to hear he had an idea for one of the shots. Wearing a white singlet, holding a cigar, Leyton wanted a 'gangsta' shot. I loved the idea and ...
family of 4 – documentary style pregnancy photos
Natural, documentary style photos - this was how Jaimee wanted to capture the final weeks of being pregnant with her third child.
My place was the perfect location offering light-filled rooms that are simply decorated in neutral tones. I asked Jaimee to bring along a piece of artwork and a few small photos of the girls to give the background of our ...
family in the park
I first documented Stewart and Kristy's family when Isabelle was a baby. After welcoming Isla into their family it was time to update their family photos and get some shots of Isla to match the ones they have of Bella (this avoids arguments when they are older).
I love shooting this age group. The girls really couldn't have cared less that ...
