the lew family
I love catching up with the Lew family every few years for an update to their family photos. I love creating images that I think are beautiful but what I love equally is building relationships with people. Watching a family grow is the greatest privilege.

The Dare family – Townsville family photos
When choosing a location for a shoot I love it when we come up with somewhere that not only looks good but is also a part of 'your story'. Michael and Kim have a little weekender up at Paluma where they escape busy lives and the scorching temperatures of Townsville (it's 8 degrees cooler up there!) A few years back ...
Nic’s graduation photos
I first met this lovely family about 12 years ago when I did their family photos. Nic (who is graduating) was about 4. We spent the afternoon running around the beach. It really does seem like yesterday. Here Nic is now, graduating from Ryan Catholic College. What a handsome young man with a bright future ahead.

Codee’s graduation
This is Codee, Sean and Treen's youngest daughter, and my niece. Codee graduated from St Margaret Mary's this year. Isn't she beautiful! Eamon (Codee's partner) also looks dashing in his suit and was the perfect gentleman.
Congratulations Codee. I know a smart, funny, intelligent girl like you has a bright future ahead. Congratulations to Sean and Treen... your youngest child graduating ...
Honey, Stew and Ocean
Look how much baby Ocean has grown! I loved capturing Honey and Stew's first family photos in their garden.

Farewell Paula and Scott
Paula and Scott were moving away from Townsville and wanted a shoot done to remember their time here. They are a quirky couple who don't take themselves too seriously. As you can see they are also ridiculously good looking and absolutely adore each other. It's a love that is beautiful to witness.
Townsville will miss you Scott and Paula!
Here is what Paula ...
the loechel family
When I first met with Amanda to discuss her family photos she said she wanted something natural & classical using the late afternoon golden light.
We were lucky to get the perfect afternoon with not a cloud in the sky. The kids were happy, everyone looked great and the magic in front of me unfolded. I loved the way that little Ella ...
family photos for decorating
Tina and Gregg recently moved into their new home and had a specific wall they wanted to fill with images. Tina took a photo with her phone of a picture she had seen in a magazine of how she wanted to decorate the room and messaged it to me. This is the image -
The two framed images on the wall ...
the sorohan extended family
Margaret recently celebrated her 60th birthday. Her husband, children and grandchildren all got together for a family dinner with her. What she didn't know is they had also planned a family photo shoot for later that afternoon. Luckily Margaret was thrilled with the idea so I traveled down to the Burdekin and we all met up at the park.
I often ...
My Family
6 kids, their 3 partners, 2 dogs, 1 cat, and a husband - planning my family photo shoot is tricky, to say the least. I had a window of 1 hour on Sunday afternoon where everyone was together. Two of our kids live in New Zealand and 2 live in Japan so having everyone in the one country was an ...
