Townsville photos – personal work

We were recently commissioned by Mark Graham Electrical to create a photo wall for their new premises which was an absolute dream job for me!  I am quite an obsessive photographer, not only taking photos during the week for clients, but most weekends you will find me photographing anything interesting that has caught my eye. Because of this continuous shooting I have a fairly large body of personal work which I always dream of doing something with, but never get around to it. Just like a builder who never finishes their own house, I am the same with my personal photos.
Mark’s brief was to have a mixture of lifestyle images, bright colours combined with some some elements of light. Once I saw the space  I knew exactly the style of design that would work (with the help of Suz, our design queen). Months earlier I had ripped a page out of an inflight magazine and kept it as an idea to use ‘one day’. I can never tell when an idea is worth saving so I just try to keep all of them… thank god Pinterest came along to keep all these ideas together. My ideas book was getting too thick and without an index it is pretty hard to find anything.
