Magnetic Island family photos

The Friday before Christmas I had the pleasure of photographing an extended family on Magnetic Island at Lotus House. The location was incredible!… we are already scheming about trip there as a ‘studio’.
I spent most of the photoshoot hanging out with Erin, Hugh and their two cousins, with a few shots with the adults included too. There were so many location options at the house that I didn’t know where to start and when it was time to leave I wanted to stay and keep shooting and hanging out in the pool with the kids!
Photographing kids defiantly requires a high level of energy to keep everyone interested and after the shoot I was exhausted… but in a good way! Kind of like the days I used to spend at the beach as a kid – I would go home tired, but satisfied.
Since it was our last working day before the holidays, Suz decided to meet me at the Italian Pizza restuarant at Maggie. So with a bottle of yummy South Australian Rosé and a Pizza each we wound down for the year with a smile on our face.
