The wonderfully creative team at Townsville Flower Market brought us these beautiful flowers adding a touch of grace to our studio and providing a lovely welcome to our clients.
Seeing the ribbons we immediately thought of Maypole dancing… but given the size and delicate nature of the display we resisted grabbing hold and skipping around in circles.
Cass is always kind enough to inform us of the names of the flowers and often has some very interesting anecdotes about the more unusual varieties… all of which I regretfully say have slipped my memory. I do recall the lilies are the more gentle-smelling variety which is great news if you have issues usually… best call or pop by and speak with the ladies for a more detailed explanation as to their properties!
Such a creative way to combine and enhance the tall stem lilies. Stunning.
