magnetic island family photography – the Kroymans family

On the way home from this shoot, on the ferry, I told myself what I always do when in this situation… I should do that more often.  We are so lucky to have magnetic Island right on our doorstep, but like a lot of locals I only make it over there a few times a year.  This particular visit was to do a family shoot for the Kroymans family.  Annmarie and Frederick have plans to move to the island next year so we thought it would be the perfect location to capture their family.  We arrived with time to spare… the kids played on the rocks, we chatted and really the only thing missing was wine. The beach was stunning, the water the perfect temperature I wanted to pitch a tent and never leave. We wanted to capture this lovely family naturally so with only a little direction basically let things unfold. By the end of the afternoon everyone was wet through, sandy and grinning ear to ear.  Thank you to the Kroyman family for a wonderful afternoon. I will definitely do that more often.
